Berlin

Hallo!

Went to Berlin last week to see the sights and to see the exhibitions and galleries.

Went to Dessau to see the Bauhaus and the masters' houses, which have just been renovated for visitors to look around. Was interesting both for a design point of view and general history of Germany.

Went to see the Memorial to the Jews, which was very moving. Reading the letters that some of the Jews who had been deported to the concentration camps, was horrific.

Went to the Bauhaus Archive, Kulturforum, Hamburger Bahnof and the DDR among many others.

day 6 in the life of a keycamp courier!
and am feeling rather hungover, as went to the exciting disco on the campsite last night.
everyone here is really nice, work isnt too bad and i already have a tan.
only got 1 min left so very short entry!

So had a bit of a scare yesterday that I might not actually be going at all, as they wanted to send me on the 7th of August, so after several phone conversations, I am still going this sunday, but instead of going to Holland first, I am going straight to France. Travelling overnight on a ferry, where I'm sure I will be very sick, from Porstmouth to St Malo. And then on from there to a resort somewhere in Brittany.
So currently packing, which is very strange as have no idea weather to pack raincoats, bikini or both.......

Hello, two weeks to go till I escape to- well I don't even know! Sounds a little strange I hear you say, well I have been empolyed by Eurocamp to work on one of their campsites somewhere in europe. I was originally meant to go out beginning of July, but they are rubbish and have messed me around and now I'm not off till 29th. And they still don't know where to send me after my 3-day training camp in Holland. Nightmare.
Who knows what will happen, but I will hopefully document all my happenings on here for you all to enjoy. So until further excitement..... Ciao!
